To: The Great Leaders Who Have a Passion For Continuous Learning
Anthony Robbins, motivational speaker, writes: “Most people have no idea of the giant capacity we can immediately command when we focus all of our resources on mastering a single area of our lives.” And it was Alexander Graham Bell who said: “Concentrate all your thoughts upon the work at hand. The sun’s rays do not burn until brought to a focus.” It is about having a sense of purpose in what we do, an end-in-mind that gives direction, a meaning that inspires and motivates us to action and sustains us on our journey. Our focus becomes our reality. We need to be precise, therefore, in what we choose as our focus.
Focusing on problems and not solutions, on what went wrong instead of what to do next, on things in which we doubt and not about what we dream - our energies are better used when directed to those things that bring value to our life. Focus on what is important, not what is urgent; what you dream not what you have; who you can and will be, and not who you were.
This week remember the words of Greg Anderson, author, who wrote: "Only one thing has to change for us to know happiness in our lives: where we focus our attention." Choose to focus on those things that challenge and stretch you to be more than you ever dreamed you could be. Master a single area of your life by bringing focus and brilliant clarity to what you choose to achieve.
Have a beautiful day and a fantastic week!!!
