USHAA & State Farm Partner to Provide Opportunity

Trenton, NJ - USHAA and State Farm Insurance led a first of its kind insurance pipeline program to educate entrepreneurial professionals on agency opportunities in the industry. State Farm's Pam Stroud and Rey Polanco provided a detailed overview of the insurance agency model. The comprehensive program developed by USHAA also covered financing and all aspects of the financial and legal diligence process required to successfully pursue such an opportunity. Jose M. Colon from NJEDA discussed financing resources available to help businesses to grow. Belarmino Suarez, CPA, of Mendonca & Suarez and Roy Carrasquillo of Gibbons P.C. provided a detailed summary of legal and financial considerations.
